Streaks

Delete your Streaks account.

A parent can delete their own Streaks account from inside the app, at any time. Here's how, and exactly what goes with it.

How to delete it in the app

  1. Sign in as a parent, on the web at app.kidstreaks.com or in the app.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Scroll to "Your account" and choose "Delete account".
  4. Optional: choose "Download my data" to save a copy of your family's data first.
  5. Enter your password, type DELETE, and confirm.

Kids can't delete an account; their sign-in is a PIN, and only a parent can do this. If you forgot your password, choose "Forgot your password?" on the parent sign-in screen to reset it first.

What gets deleted

  • Your parent account and sign-in.
  • If you're the last parent in the household, the whole household: every child profile and PIN, and all their history, including streaks, goals, rewards, marshmallows, badges and notification subscriptions. Every device signed in to the household is signed out.
  • If another parent remains, only your account is removed. The household and the kids' history stay with them.

Deletion happens straight away and can't be undone.

What we keep, and for how long

  • Backups: deleted data is removed from the Streaks database straight away. Copies in our routine database backups are deleted automatically after about 30 days.
  • Server logs: overwritten automatically as new logs replace them, as described in our privacy policy.
  • Nothing else. We don't keep a copy of a deleted household for any other purpose. [CONFIRM after legal review]

Other ways to ask

Can't sign in?

Email us from the address on the account and we'll verify you're the account's parent, then delete it for you. We reply within 30 days.

[email protected] or [email protected] [CONFIRM manual deletion process]

Delete one child, keep the household

In the app, open Parent Settings, choose the child, and tap "Delete [child's name]'s profile". Enter your password to confirm. That deletes the child's profile and all of their history straight away. Your other kids keep their marshmallows and streaks. A household bounty the child won is removed too, with any claims your other kids made on it. Archiving a child only hides the profile; it doesn't delete anything.

You can also email [email protected] and we'll do it within 30 days.
